Barrientos Leads Phoenix Past Kansas City
Pitcher Jay Barrientos was sensational for the Phoenix Thunderbirds in his team's 2-0 triumph over the Kansas City Athletics. Barrientos earned the win. Picking up his 1st save was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Alex Mendez. The Athletics fall to 5-6 and continue their wobbly start to the 2085 season.

Barrientos allowed no runs over 7 innings. He also racked up 7 strikeouts.
