San Francisco got a terrific game from right fielder Sean Oehlert. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Vancouver, 7-6, in 10 innings. Oehlert went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs. Vancouver reliever Nick Campbell picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Joe Drum was saddled with the loss. The win gives Vancouver a record of 6-5.

The decisive blow was delivered by Yuan Zhu in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 31-year old right-handed pitcher Joe Drum to win the game for Vancouver. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place was electric at the end," Zhu said.
