Spectres Earn 8-7 Win Against Toros
|
The Philadelphia Spectres wiggled past the Tucson Toros, 8-7, at Sony Field at Philadelphia. The win was highlighted by the performance of Philadelphia second baseman Eddie Kelly. Philadelphia, at 51-47, sits in third place in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.
The Spectres got a clutch hit from center fielder Xavier Santa. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Spectres.
"Our team showed some gumption," said Santa. "I like it."
