The New York Titans captured an easy win, 12-1, over the Boston Greens at Arrington Park. Yin-ti Huan led the offensive barrage, going 2-for-3 for New York. Ruben Gonzalez, credited with the win in relief, is now 4-0. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. The Titans saw their win-loss record go to 58-41. At the same time, the Greens fell to 53-45.

Early in the game, Huan had a 2-run home run for New York. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Titans on top, 2-0.

Boston manager Matt Glazer called the blowout loss "just something that happens from time to time."
