Toronto third baseman Ginjiro Muranaka had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the Philadelphia Spectres, 8-7. Muranaka picked up 2 singles and 2 doubles in the ballgame. Toronto reliever Ignacio Noriega picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Divino Aljeroz was saddled with the loss. With the loss, Philadelphia drops to 6-5.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jason Wedel in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Divino Aljeroz to win the game for Toronto. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Muranaka said.
