|
Kansas City pitcher Josh Breaux had a large part in his team beating the Houston Aquas, 5-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Trevor Augustine earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Houston has now lost 5 in a row.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when designated hitter Brandon Russell hit a triple. The Athletics went on to win.
