Seattle left fielder Lucas Pamatz contributed significantly to his team's 7-3 win over the San Francisco Friars. Pamatz, who finished 4th in the WC in hits with 179 in 2081, went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Arrows. Felipe Diaz, the winning pitcher, improved to 8-6. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 11 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 0. San Francisco is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 10 games.

Seattle used the timely hitting of Paul Mancia to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Arrows on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
