Victory Pushes Avispas Record to 54-44
The Santiago Avispas knocked off the Baltimore Kings, 9-3, in Eastern Conference action at Estadio Guillermón Moncada. Santiago pitcher and New York, native Beau Eschmann had an outstanding performance. Eschmann got the win, improving to 11-6. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 8.2 innings. He allowed 3 runs. The second-place Avispas hiked their record to 54-44.

In the bottom of the second, 22-year old center fielder Jordan Cazarez hit a bases-clearing double. The 16th double of the season for the Santiago center fielder put the Avispas on top, 3-0.

"Beau commanded the zone from bottom to top," said Santiago manager Jacob Pauly.
