Despite a great performance by Houston left fielder Bobby Badeaux, the Havana Metropolitanos defeated the Aquas by the score of 12-9 at Estadio Latinoamericano. Badeaux was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Josh Trejo was credited with the save for Havana, his 27th of the season.

Havana center fielder Casey Marko contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 98th hit of the season and put the Metropolitanos ahead, 9-8.

"Wild game," said Marko after it ended.

The win for the Metropolitanos raised their record to 58-40.
