With 3-2 Win, Kodiaks Improve to 63-33
|
Alaska turned a good effort from starter Quinn Topp into a win over the Havana Metropolitanos at Estadio Latinoamericano. The Kodiaks won the game, 3-2. Jeff Amendola nailed down his 7th save. With the win, the Kodiaks hiked their record to 63-33.
Jeremy Curzon had a direct impact on the outcome. Curzon contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Alaska up, 2-0.
"This team is on a mission," said Curzon, who is one of the clubhouse leaders. "I like our focus."
