Arrows Score Late to Upend Aces, 5-1
|
The Seattle Arrows beat the Las Vegas Aces, 5-1, at Western Coliseum. Starting pitcher Alex Zapien was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Seattle has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.
Seattle won the game in part because of Ryan Jarnagin. The catcher ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Arrows ahead, 4-1. For the game, Jarnagin had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Zapien told the Seattle Daily.
