The Portland Dragons downed the Vancouver Wolves, 10-5, at Fox-Chong Park. The Dragons were led by Xadreque Esperana. Esperana went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Dragons now own a record of 47-49.

With Portland leading 6-5 in the top of the ninth, Esperana hit a fastball from Cody Goings for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Dragons ahead, 8-5.

"We came out aggressive," said Dragons manager Greg Carpenter. "We came out swinging the bats."
