Baltimore Stopped, 7-5, by Cincinnati
|
Cincinnati picked up a win at AT&T Park, bumping off the Baltimore Kings, 7-5. Pitcher Ken Wellon was a major reason the Twins emerged victorious. Avery Slade earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. The loss lowers the Baltimore record to 7-3.
Salomão Capucho helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Cincinnati a 2-0 lead.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Twins manager Ryan Stoops. "This one was nice to get."
