Arrows Deal Destroyers 6-3 Defeat
|
The Seattle Arrows beat the San Diego Destroyers, 6-3, at Power Ballpark. The Arrows got a fine performance from center fielder Jordan Alvarez, who slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win gives Seattle a record of 3-7.
The Arrows got a big at-bat from first baseman Brian Prochazka. For the game, Prochazka was 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 2nd double of the season gave Seattle a 3-1 lead.
Seattle manager Dr. Jay Siber was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
