The San Francisco Friars powered past the Minneapolis Vikings, 8-2, at Staples Field. Sean Oehlert provided some of the pop. He went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 3. Chris Mayea recorded the save, making him 6 for 6. San Francisco has now won 10 straight.

The fans who came to support the Friars were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Staples Field.

"This game can get contagious when you're going good offensively," said San Francisco manager Erich Weatherholt.
