Senators Get Extra-Inning, 4-3 Win
|
The Washington Senators picked up a win at The ESPN Zone, downing the Montreal Harfangs, 4-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Washington was right-hander Rogelio Domínguez, who played a pivotal role in the win. Washington reliever Xiong Loh snagged the win, upping his record to 7-6. Arthur Gordon shouldered the loss. The win has Washington at 37-58.
The Senators were down to their final out when first baseman Kiyomi Yoshimura turned a 1-0 fastball from Dan Tweedy into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the The ESPN Zone crowd go wild.
"We were determined to pick up this win," said Domínguez.
