Downward Spiral Continues for St. Louis
Behind a solid performance from catcher Jose Neria, the Miami Cyclones defeated the St. Louis Gaedels, 10-4. Neria was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Cyclones. St. Louis has now lost 9 in a row.

With Miami leading 4-1 in the top of the ninth, Neria hit a slider from Jose Ruiz for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 8-1.
