|
Houston Aquas starter Antonio Equihua found his groove in his team's 7-4 win over the Toronto Juggernauts. Hwi-gon Chun got the save, his 2nd in 2 chances. With the victory, the Aquas upped their record to 59-35.
Frank Lung had a big 2-run double for the Aquas in the bottom of the first inning. With Houston leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Daniel Taylor, who finished 4th in the EC in strikeouts with 195 last year, and swatted a double to center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aquas ahead, 4-0.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Equihua. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
