Rangers Earn Win with Late Rally
The Buffalo Rangers needed 13 innings to beat the Seattle Arrows, 7-6, at Power Ballpark. The win was due in part to catcher Merlin Garbie, who went 5 for 6 with a home run, 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 7 RBI and scoring once. Carlos Palafox picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 9-3. Justin Blankenhorn suffered the loss. The Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division-leading Rangers have a record of 55-39.

Garbie had a game-changing double in the top of the 13th. On a 1-0 fastball from Justin Blankenhorn, he banged a 2-run double to right-center, giving the Rangers a 7-5 lead. It was the 16th double of the year for Garbie.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Garbie told the Buffalo Gazette.
