The Minneapolis Vikings were defeated, 2-1, by the Buffalo Rangers at Minneapolis Grounds, even though Frank Macias pitched well for Minneapolis. The win hiked the Buffalo record to 51-43.
Rafael Vasco, who finished 4th in the EC in batting average with .318 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Vasco contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put Buffalo up, 1-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Vasco.
