Joly Lays Hammer Down in 6-0 Win

The Kansas City Athletics picked up a win at Ballpark of Missouri, dropping the Maine Lobster, 6-0. Al Joly, who is tied for 3rd in the WC in quality starts with 13, was the difference-maker. Kansas City now sports a record of 50-44.
Joly overpowered the Lobster. The Kansas City right-hander allowed 1 hit over 8 innings, while recording 10 punchouts. With the win, he is 8-3 on the season.
"Al was really on it," said Kansas City manager Joe Monagle. "He's got a feel for playing with the hitter front-to-back, side-to-side."
