In a close game at The ESPN Zone, the Washington Senators edged the Montreal Harfangs, 4-3. Washington designated hitter Justin Yount stood apart with his performance. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. The Senators sport a record of 36-58.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Yount hit a knuckle curve from Jairo Madueno for a run-scoring double. The Senators, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We scored more than enough runs this time," said Washington manager Josh Cooan. "Now watch. The next game we'll probably struggle to get a base hit."
