Vikings Squelch Kodiaks Offense in Shutout Win
The Minneapolis Vikings got a strong performance from pitcher Fidel Flores, who stymied the Alaska offense en route to a win, 6-0, at Minneapolis Grounds. Minneapolis raised its record to 55-38 with the win.

Bobby Aguinaga had a big 2-run double for the Vikings in the bottom of the second inning. With Minneapolis leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a splitter from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Will Spangenberg and swatted a double to right. It was his 33rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Vikings ahead, 3-0.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Aguinaga.
