The exploits of second baseman Ramon Chirino helped the Denver Glaciers defeat the Chicago Phantoms, 6-2. Chirino was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Glaciers, at 51-42, have now won 4 straight.

The Glaciers got a big at-bat from shortstop Juan Ahumada. For the game, Ahumada was 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Denver a 2-1 lead.
