Kodiaks Win with Late Rally
|
The Las Vegas Aces went down to defeat to Pavel Orta and his Alaska teammates. The final score was 3-2, Kodiaks, in 10 innings. The win was credited to 25-year old right-handed pitcher Xiang-ling Khoo in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Nestor Cantu took the loss. With the win, Alaska raised its record to 52-40.
The Kodiaks got a clutch hit from third baseman Alderaan Pike. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Kodiaks.
"Job one," said Pike, "is get the job done."
