10-4 Loss to Glaciers Extends Los Angeles Losing Streak
Stars Ballpark was the site for Western Conference action featuring the Los Angeles Stars and Denver Glaciers.

The Denver Glaciers beat the Los Angeles Stars, 10-4. Denver pitcher and Miami, Florida, native Huggy Bruce led the way. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Los Angeles.

Ray Garcia had a big 2-run double for the Glaciers in the top of the second inning. With Denver leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Rocco Duccio and swatted a double to right. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Glaciers ahead, 4-0.

"Huggy's a gamer," said Denver manager Todd Bleess. "Glad he's on our side."
