Abrego, Aces March to 8-1 Victory
The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Los Angeles Stars, 8-1, at Western Coliseum. Leading the charge for Las Vegas was left fielder Sardis Abrego. He went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. The winner was Omezo Suyama, who threw 99 pitches over 6 innings. The left-hander was charged with 1 run on 6 hits. Dylan Cisar was credited with the save for Las Vegas, his 3rd of the season.

With Las Vegas trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Abrego hit a curveball from Danny Serrano for a 2-run home run. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the Aces ahead, 2-1.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Las Vegas skipper Justin Coroian.

The Aces bumped their record to 48-43 with this win.
