Havana Gets 5-1 Road Win
|
Havana turned a good performance from starting pitcher Bobby Jaramillo into a 5-1 triumph over the Philadelphia Spectres at Sony Field at Philadelphia. The Spectres, 4-6, continue their sluggish start to the 2084 campaign.
Alex Arias went 1 for 4 for Havana. The 24-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Tommy Pepper. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.
"Bobby was locating, throwing all of his pitches," said Havana manager Kevin Mayerhofer. "He did a heck of a job."
