Rangers Thwart Metropolitanos, 4-3
Good production from right fielder Bobby Rojas helped the Buffalo Rangers topple the Havana Metropolitanos, 4-3. Rojas went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk for the Rangers. Arif Kartini snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits over 1.2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. Josh Trejo, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Rojas had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a solo home run. The Rangers went on to win.

"This was a good win," said Rojas.

The triumph makes Buffalo 8-2, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2086.
