The Tucson Toros picked up a win at Aetna Stadium, knocking off the Buffalo Rangers, 7-5. Starting pitcher Miguel Moquete played a key role in the triumph. The loss makes Buffalo 49-42.
Tucson got a knockout punch from Jose Pedroza. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Pedroza. "You've got to get results."
