4-0 Win for Las Vegas Over Buffalo
|
Las Vegas pitcher Felipe Diaz had a large part in his team subduing the Buffalo Rangers, 4-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Las Vegas now owns a record of 53-39.
The Aces got a big at-bat from second baseman Tyler Plantholt. For the game, Plantholt went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Las Vegas a 2-0 lead.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Buffalo skipper Alex Beckman, "and it cost us."
