Santiago Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Santiago beat Boston on the strength of starting pitcher Allan Tinter's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The Avispas, now 7-2, have been playing some good baseball.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jon Dante in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Gerardo Garcia to win the game for Santiago. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Tinter.
