Havana pitcher Luis Casillas did his part in helping his team defeat the St. Louis Gaedels, 6-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Havana second baseman Jordan Vasquez contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a curveball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 3rd hit of the season and put the Metropolitanos ahead, 5-2.
