Boston Gets 2-1 Win Behind Lefty Nie
The Boston Greens used a great performance from Su-shun Nie, who is a five-time All-Star, to beat the Washington Senators, 2-1, at Arrington Park. Raudel Hernandez picked up the save, his 15th. The last-place Senators now sit at 36-53.

Nie, who dominated for Boston, earned the victory to move to 6-6. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7.2 innings, while striking out 7. Washington batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Su-shun pitches with such conviction and you see it in his body language, you see it in his attack plan," said Boston manager Matt Glazer.
