The Seattle Arrows got production up and down the lineup while beating the Minneapolis Vikings, 13-2. One standout was center fielder Mark Chamblin. Chamblin went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. The first-place Vikings dropped to 52-37.

With Seattle trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Chamblin hit a fastball from Jose Ortiz for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Arrows ahead, 4-1.

Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan said "nothing went right"in the blowout loss.
