Steinruck Pounds 2 Homers in 10-7 Greens Win
Matt Steinruck added some punch to the Boston offense, helping them outmuscle the St. Louis Gaedels, 10-7. In the game, Steinruck, who is rated as the 32nd best prospect by BNN, went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Boston pitcher Jorge Zamora got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Tso-i Mak got the loss. Raudel Hernandez notched his 7th save of the season.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Greens grabbed the lead when Steinruck hit his 10th home run of the season. The solo home run off Tso-i Mak made it 8-7, Boston.

"The vibe's good," said Boston manager Matt Glazer. "We've got to keep it going."

The Greens now own a record of 50-37.
