Kruppenbacher Sensational for Harfangs
The Montreal Harfangs picked up a win at Mount Royal Park, knocking off the St. Louis Gaedels, 7-0. On the mound for Montreal was right-hander Craig Kruppenbacher. He played a key role in the triumph. Manny Arango nailed down the save. After today's action, Montreal sits at 48-39, while St. Louis falls to 53-36.

It was a masterful performance from the popular Kruppenbacher, who notched 7 strikeouts in 7.1 innings while allowing 4 hits. Kruppenbacher, who is tied for 10th in the EC in complete games with 1, goes to 9-6 on the year with 95 strikeouts.

"Craig's focus was outstanding. The way he handled every moment -- when there was a little trouble, he didn't lose his tempo or his rhythm," said Montreal manager Brendan Henry.
