|
Phoenix Thunderbirds starter Henry Escobedo found his groove in his team's 7-3 win over the Philadelphia Spectres. Ko Morita picked up the win in relief for Phoenix, while Alberto Zamora took the loss. Today's win puts Phoenix at 33-56, while Philadelphia falls to 45-42.
Min-yul Lee provided a timely hit. The Phoenix third baseman delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Thunderbirds on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
Lee said he was "thrilled" the fans had something to get excited about.
