Stars Suffer 5-2 Setback
The Los Angeles Stars got a sterling performance from pitcher Roberto Davila, but the Maine Lobster still prevailed, 5-2. Davila threw 5.1 innings allowing 1 run. Chris Maxwell notched his 6th save of the season. Maine, now 48-40, holds down first place in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.

Jacob Testaverde, who is a six-time All-Star, helped out the Maine cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-4 with a walk.

Testaverde attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
