St. Louis wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Andres Anguiano, falling to the Boston Greens, 3-2. Anguiano threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. The win went to Adrian Portuondo in relief, making him now 3-6. Frank Hubert took the loss for St. Louis. The second-place Greens hiked their record to 49-37.

The decisive blow was delivered by Brian Snavley in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 30-year old right-handed pitcher Frank Hubert to win the game for Boston. The home crowd went nuts.

"Right now, things are falling our way," said Boston manager Matt Glazer.
