The Glaciers grabbed a win, 5-4, at Western Coliseum, overcoming a fine effort from Las Vegas pitcher Omezo Suyama. Suyama went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win puts Denver at 47-40 this season.

Denver used a timely hit from John Sauve to get the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Glaciers ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We won," Sauve told assembled media after the game. "I guess that's all that really matters."
