Buffalo Gets 8-5 Win Against Spectres
The home crowd had a good time watching the Philadelphia Spectres and Buffalo Rangers get after it.

Buffalo parlayed a decent outing from starter Carlos Palafox into a solid win over the Philadelphia Spectres. The final score was 8-5. Palafox picked up the win for Buffalo, going 5 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Ricardo Alas wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.

The Rangers got a big boost from left fielder Matty Hrinko who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Spectres hurler Gary Banks. It was his 2nd walk of the season and put Buffalo on top, 1-0.

"This team is real focused right now," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.

The Rangers, now 8-1, have played some good baseball in the early going.
