Toronto registered a win at Estadio Latinoamericano by beating the Havana Metropolitanos, 3-0. Pitcher Luis Basurto was one reason why the Juggernauts triumphed. The loss makes Havana 5-4.

Toronto needed the clutch hitting of Hisatada Konda to seal the deal. The second baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Juggernauts on top, 2-0. For the game, Konda had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Kevin Mayerhofer. "That was the problem."
