Kings Handed 5-1 Loss by Cincinnati
|
Fans of the Cincinnati Twins who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Cincinnati win over the visiting Baltimore Kings, 5-1. Bryan Szabo started for the home team against Kunimatsu Myaji. Salomão Capucho earned accolades for his performance.
Early in the game, Capucho had a 2-run double for Cincinnati. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Twins on top, 2-0.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Cincinnati skipper Ryan Stoops.
