|
Tucson parlayed a decent outing from starter Miguel Moquete into a solid win over the Havana Metropolitanos. The final score was 7-5. The winner was Moquete. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. Tucson used a well-timed hit by Jose Pedroza to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Toros ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.
