Wolves Go 10 Innings to Beat Seattle, 8-6
|
The Vancouver Wolves downed the Seattle Arrows, 8-6, in 10 innings at Fox-Chong Park. The Wolves were led by Tony Bosques. Bosques went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Wolves win now puts them at 39-47.
Vancouver got a knockout punch from Dave Castanon. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Castanon.
