Arrows Handed 7-4 Loss
|
The Denver Glaciers beat the Seattle Arrows, 7-4, at Mountain Dew Park. Denver shortstop Nate Tinsley banged out 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. Luis Muratalla picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-1. He struck out 8 in 6 innings. Jorge Diaz got the save, the 1st for him this season.
Tinsley had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 3-1 fastball from Mike Kostin, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Glaciers a 6-4 lead. It was the 3rd double of the year for Tinsley.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Tinsley. "You've got to get results."
The loss drops Seattle to 2-7.
