|
Jorge Ojeda batted in 3 runs to lead Brooklyn to a win over Cincinnati. The final score was 9-5. Ojeda chipped in 1 single and 1 home run. The third-place Browns improved to 41-44.
Nick Majors had a big bases-clearing double for the Browns in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Brooklyn leading 6-5 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from former first round draft pick Macario Mendoza and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Browns ahead, 9-5.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Majors said.
