Juggernauts Earn 7-3 Home Win
|
The Toronto Juggernauts overcame a pretty good performance by Chicago designated hitter Trevor Hutchinson, beating the Phantoms, 7-3, at Molson Park. Hutchinson went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Toronto is now 33-50.
Toronto got a big at-bat from Tondabayashi, Japan native Hisatada Konda, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 2-run double. It was his 26th double of the season and put the Juggernauts ahead, 6-2.
"It's good to win," Konda told the Toronto Gazette. "I like to have fun doing it."
