Lung Lifts Aquas to 7-1 Triumph
The Houston Aquas stymied the Denver Glaciers, 7-1, at Tesoro Stadium. Frank Lung had a good day at the plate. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Houston. Axel Mendiola, the winner, improved to 5-8. He held the Glaciers to 1 run on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The second-place Aquas have a record of 49-36.

Lung had a key at-bat for Houston in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and gave Houston an early 2-0 lead.

"We did the things that it takes to win a game," said Lung.
