Gonzales Delivers Walk-Off Win for Harfangs
|
Starting pitcher Les Ralph gave the Montreal Harfangs a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the St. Louis Gaedels, 2-1, at Mount Royal Park. Montreal bumps their record to 26-58 with the win.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Montreal third baseman Freddy Gonzales, facing Hector Roybal, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Harfangs the 2-1 win.
"What we get, we earn," Ralph told the Montreal Today.
