The Las Vegas Aces topped the San Diego Destroyers, 4-3, in Western Conference action at Western Coliseum. The game was highlighted by the performance of Las Vegas pitcher Yolber Ajete. Jordan Torres earned the save, his 2nd. After today's action, Las Vegas sits at 43-41; San Diego slips to 33-51.

Bobby Brito had a big run-scoring double for the Aces in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Las Vegas leading 3-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a sinker from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Javy Fierro and swatted a double to center. It was his 20th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aces ahead, 4-0.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said San Diego skipper Steve Alstadt, "and it cost us."
