In a tight game between the Houston Aquas and the San Francisco Friars, pitcher Yadisniel Saez was terrific on the mound. The Houston right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. The Aquas now own a record of 48-36.
Houston second baseman Bobby Diaz contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to left-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 5th hit of the season and put the Aquas ahead, 2-0.
"Yadisniel is good at sticking to his strengths," said Houston manager Brandon Coroian.
