Juggernauts Score 3-2 Win Over Philadelphia
|
Starting pitcher Fisko Loera had a solid game. He was a big reason the Toronto Juggernauts throttled the Philadelphia Spectres, 3-2. Loera, the winner, moves to 6-9. He threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 4 walks. The Juggernauts improved to 38-44.
Dodger Hall Jr., who leads the EC in triples with 6, had a direct impact on the outcome. Hall Jr. contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the third inning to put Toronto up, 2-0.
"I just tried to stick to my strengths," said Loera.
