Miami and Montreal duked it out and the Cyclones came out victorious.
The Miami Cyclones got a magnificent performance from pitcher Billy Lorsung, who muffled the Montreal offense en route to a tight, 3-0 Cyclones win at Mount Royal Park. The 4th-place Cyclones now have a win-loss record of 37-44.
Lorsung picked up the win. He's now 6-5, after putting the Montreal offense in the deep freeze. Over 7 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 2 hits.
"Billy made the big pitches when he needed to," said Miami manager Chris Stephan.
